explains how to download and install the program.
This file will take less than a
minute to download
with a DSL or cable connection. The name
of the file you will be downloading is
ChildSupportSetup2009.exe
Download Instructions
When you begin the download process above, a dialog box
will appear.
When prompted in the download process, it is suggested that you specify that you want
to
"Open" or "Run" the setup file
A compressed file named
ChildSupportSetup2009.exe will be downloaded to a temporary location on
you hard disk drive. When fully downloaded, this program Setup file
will be activated and walk you through the installation process.
You may feel more comfortable with the automatic installation process by
downloading the file "Installation
and Program Overview 2009.pdf" by clicking
here.
Installation Instructions
As part of the installation process you will be asked to specify a
location to which to install the program. The program
will be installed to the directory (folder) named c:\program files\child
support2009 unless you tell it
differently.
Read this:
If you have an existing version of this program which is
located somewhere else on your hard disk, it will be up to you to know where that is.
The install process does not look for prior versions of the program.
A prior version need not be present on your computer, even if you are
wanting to update a prior version.
New Customers:
Before using the program, if you have not already done so, you will need to pay
(or arrange to pay) for the program. At that
time you can obtain an "Activation Code"
in
order to activate the program. You can pay for the program
using a credit card and get an Activation Code through this
web site.
When finished, you should have:
1. A new folder in Program Files called Child Support
which contains all of the Child Support Guidelines program files.
2. A red and white icon
on your desktop
from which you can run the program.
3. A new entry on your Start Menu from
which you can run the program and access the program's instructions
(in Adobe Acrobat format.)
Multiple Installations
If you have purchased a multi-computer license,
you can create additional occurrences of the program by downloading the
program setup file to a second or additional computer. To do so,
return to the web site from the second or additional computer. You
will need to start at the web site's Customer Support page where you will find a link
that returns you to this web site page where you can download the setup file.
Alternatively, if you have purchased a multi-computer license,
after downloading, you can create additional occurrences of the program by
copying ChildSupportSetup2009.exe to a USB "memory stick" or to
a CD. Then use the memory stick or CD to install the program to other
locations.
New Customers:

After downloading the Child Support program setup file,
