The name of the file you will be downloading is LegalMathSetup2007.exe          

(Note  --  4/17/2007  --  This version of the program is compatible with Window XP and Windows Vista.  Prior versions of this program will not work using Windows Vista. This Windows Vista compatible program will have to be purchased, as a "new user" or as an "update", and will require a different Activation Code than the one you may now have for Version 2004 or Version 99.)

Download Instructions

When you begin the download process above, a dialog box similar to the picture below will appear.
When prompted in the download process, specify that you want to 
"Save this file to disk"   or   "Save"   or   "Download File"
Specify a download location that you can find or remember,
Specify:   Desktop (best)      or    c:\my documents or 
c:\my downloaded files
     or     c:\windows\temp
Read this: Pay attention before telling your browser to save or download. You must be sure to remember and be able to find the location on your hard disk to which the downloaded file will be saved.  In the picture above, the file being downloaded will be saved to the "desktop."
Once the location for saving the file has been specified, click "Save" and the download process will begin.
Downloading will save the compressed file named  LegalMathSetup2007.exe to your hard disk.

Once the file  LegalMathSetup2007.exe  has been downloaded and saved, you must run ("execute") the file.   If you specified that the downloaded file should be saved to your "desktop", there will be a new icon on your desktop.  To run the setup process, double click this new icon.  
If you did not save the file to your Windows Desktop you will need to "go to" the location where you saved the file and then run it from wherever it is found.  The best place from which to do this is from Start/Run in the lower left corner of the desktop.  Left click START   Then left click RUN    Then from the RUN dialog box click "Browse" to locate and highlight the file LegalMathSetup2007.exe  Then click OPEN.  Then Click OK  The installation process will extract all program files and then give you the option to install the program.

Installation Instructions

The installation process will ask you where you want the program to be installed.  It will be installed to the directory (folder) named c:\program files\legal math  unless you tell it differently.
Read this: If you have an existing version of this program which is located somewhere else on your hard disk, it will be up to you to know where that is. The install process does not look for prior versions of the program.

When finished, you should have:
1. A new folder in Program Files called Legal Math which contains all of the Legal Math program files.
2. A yellow pencil icon on your desktop from which you can run the program.
3. A new entry on your Start Menu from which you can run the program and access the program's instructions (in Adobe Acrobat  format.)

If you are licensed for multiple installations, you can create additional occurrences of the program  by copying  LegalMathSetup2007.exe  to a properly labeled and dated CD or USB memory stick.  Then use that CD or memory stick to install the program to other locations. 

New Customers: Before using the program, if you have not already done so, you will need to pay (or arrange to pay) for the program. At that time you can obtain an "Activation Code" in order to activate the program. You can pay for the program using a credit card and get an Activation Code through this web site.

After downloading the Legal Math setup file, please copy ("burn") the setup file to a properly labeled CD.  Put the CD and the Activation Code information where you can find both later in the event you need to re-install the program some time in the future.
