Custom Legal Software is the
invention of William Redak who, in 1988, began
furnishing Colorado family law lawyers with a small
DOS base computer program to calculate child support
under then new Colorado Child Support
Guidelines.
The business has evolved and
grown over the years to the point where several of
its programs are the "standard" method of
calculation in Colorado and elsewhere around the
country. Legal Math, the program that
calculates interest on past due child support, is
now in use by family law lawyers in nearly every
state and is relied upon by many governmental child
support enforcement offices, especially in Colorado
and California.
